December corn is down 1/2 cent per bushel, November soybeans are up 4 1/4 cents, and September KC wheat is down 6 cents.
Traders are entering the month of August with optimism that strong momentum built at the end of July will redevelop in cattle futures. Spot-month live cattle and feeder cattle trade set short-term highs Friday, setting the bar even higher during early August.
